About time somebody turn down Angeline Jolie. She’s too used to getting her own way.
I agree with KG! Thank you! The movies we write , film, and export to the world are a big part of the hatred we now suffer. The image of America and Americans has dropped so low , in part, because of some of the raunchy, vulgar, classless and inappropriate movies we make. We need to lift UP our sights! Look back to the day when our movies represented us as moral and good people. I was in Europe a while back. Women there dress so hip BUT modest! No flabby middles flapping and cleavage flying al over! Sorry, that’s a side comment! Don’t support bad movies!
The movie is not about a Bosnian woman who is raped and falls in love with her captor. Those are rumors.
The real reason the they can not film in Bosnia is because the movie script was not attached to the application to film in the country
I don’t understand how anyone on this blog can write about what this movie is truly about if they have not read the script. Reading someone’s comments about something online does not make it real.
I’m not an A-Jolie fan, but I doubt that she would make a movie with that alledged plot line (victim falling in love with brutal rapist) considering her humanitarian causes. Wait til the full story comes out before the premature outrage kicks in.
they have every right to not want them to film there. its there choice and if they dont approve maybe the should reconcider there movie to be more respectful of those who they are trying to perceive.
Don’t judge ppl before the whole story comes out. Honestly, I am not that big fan of Angelina, but I learned to appreciate all humanitarian work she does. The idea to shoot this film in my opinion came from that side of her. Bosnian government approved their application in the mean time, because the film crew or whoever responsible for that provided the scenario with the application. Rape scenes were rumors and nothing else . This is nice story, but another controversy here is that the 90% of the story was stolen, as another Croatian writer claimed few days ago. He stated that the story was changed a little bit, but that was the story he wrote and it was presented at Oprah’s show. Anyhow,I do believe that this will be nice movie and I am anxious to see it when it gets released.
