I don’t get why we are being asked to comment on someone else’s marriage, EW. What kind of intelligent opinion can we be expected to have? (And looking at these posts, the answer is clearly: none.)
All I will say is, having heard David on Howard Stern just a few weeks ago, David described his marriage in such a glorious way, this is kind of shocking.
I can’t comment on why they split, because unlike everyone here, I’ve never met them. I’m amazed that so many of their friends who know exactly why they split (because, of course, since they’re so close they have all the details) are on here commenting. Nancy Wilson and Cameron Crowe just split after 24 years of marriage. I’m waiting to see all of their friends post comments on why they split. You must all be friends of Courtney and David and also live in their house, otherwise, how would you know why they split?
But..why? They looked so good together! Hopefully the separation doesn’t last long. This put a dampener on my day.

The Scream films were what brought them together, now literally they bring bad memories. I mean they were just telling E news that they loved working on the scream movies because it brought them together.
Well anyways, their roles in the Scream films aren’t as important as they were in the beginning of the franchise as the purpose of scream 4 is to focus on a new generation of characters. Courtney Cox was only on set for barely 2 weeks and immediately returned to the production of Cougar Town.

My friend told me this today so I just had to check online. I feel really sad that their daughter has to go through this and the fact that it’s publicized. Of course, I’m so sorry for Courteney and David but as a child of separation, I definitely know how hard this could be for Coco.
BUT. They did not say they were officially getting divorced, they’re just separated. There could still be a tiny ounce of hope.
