Prosecutors won't charge Russell Brand in paparazzo run-in

Prosecutors have told People they will not charge Russell Brand for his run-in with a paparazzo at Los Angeles International Airport last month. Brand will, however, attend a hearing Nov. 19 with the cameraman, who made a citizen’s arrest by booking Brand on suspicion of battery. (Brand allegedly shoved the paparazzo, who was taking pictures of the comedian and his fiancĂ©, Katy Perry.) Neither party are looking to press charges against one another.

Does a citizen’s arrest really work? Especially if it is a pushy papparazo trying to get a celebrity in trouble? How do these photographers get away with what they do, I don’t get it? It’s always the stars fault when they get mad after being yelled at or had a camera shoved in their face. Any normal person in this situation would do the same thing.

Hell, if someone tried shoving a camera up my girlfriend’s skirt I’d have knocked out some of his teeth. Dude got off easy as far as I’m concerned.

the paparrazi’s need a life..its their fault not russells. They should be arresting the paparrazi’s, not celebrities..celebrities have their own right to you know. I hate the paparrazi so much they are so annoying & stupid.
