Ivi, a small online subscription service, is being sued by a group of broadcast networks, reports Reuters. The company offers online access to 20 channels for $4.99 a month — a service that NBC, ABC, CBS, and others claim is illegal. Ivi filed a pre-emptive suit last week against the broadcasters, asking the court to clear it of any charges of copyright infringement.
