When Sirius signed Howard they only had 600,000 subscribers. Within 2 years that had almost 6 million. If I wasn’t for Howard Satellite Radio would have been over years ago. Peace and Love. Peace and Love.
Opie & Anthony rule Sirius Xm radio. Stern sucks. Give the 500 million to O & A & little Jimmy then get the lawyers off their ass and let them loose! Send Stern for coffee and blueberries. He can be Club Soda Kenny’s butch! Who who!
You can listen for free on Shoutcast every morning, except on Fridays or whenever he’s on vacation.
Howard doesn’t need to stay on Sirius, technology is quickly surpassing satellite radio—there are other ways to listen to him, am I wrong? He needs to stay one step ahead of whatever is new.
Of course it’s about renegotiations. Where else is he going to go?
All he wants to do any more is talk about how great Beth Yoko Stern is. We get it Howard: she is so great her urine cures cancer. You would still have your first wife if spent a fraction of the time talking nicely about her. Instead, he joked about her miscarriage on the air. What a class act!!
I will be ending my subscription if Howard does not get a new contract. What pissed me off the most was the prices actually went up after the merger instead of down. And even thouugh they are one company, I have to pay more for it on my XM subscription. That’s bull.
I wish Howard would just go back to terrestrial radio (and take the money(. I know he hated the language restrictions, etc., but they forced him to be more creative.
If this means that Sirius will lose a ton of customers if Howard leaves, then great! I hate Sirius, and Howard will land on his feet no matter what.
Agreed he’s made them far too much money to play games with him… O&A had 40,000 listeners on XM before the merger- that is nothing seem like half their fans are reading this cause nobody writes articles about O&A
The Opie and Anthony show is way better than Stern.
