Tagged:

Extra Gabriela V. Cedillo, 24, of Chicago was seriously injured on the production set of Transformers 3 while filming a stunt, FOX Chicago News reports.

The crew was shooting Wednesday night in the Chicago suburb of Hammond, Ind., using several cars and drivers when a cable reportedly fell through the windshield of the Toyota she was driving, hitting Cedillo. She was then airlifted to Loyola University Medical Center. A senior member of the production team told FOX that Thursday’s filming has been postponed because of the accident. Today should have been the final day of shooting.

My thoughts and prayers are with Gabriela Cedillo … the woman injured.

That’s what we should be thinking about at this time.

I agree with you and Axel… Prayers for Gabriela Cedillo went up as soon as I read about it. Nowadays, people feel like that have to say exactly what’s on their minds, no filtering whatsoever. Just shows their ignorance.

I agree. If you don’t like an actor, don’t see the movie. Wishing them harm on a public forum just shows that you’re a classless waste. My prayers go out to the girl and her family. I hope she has a full and speedy recovery.

a 200m+ production using extras instead stunt drivers, that doesn’t sound very smart

Gee…Megan Fox actually DID have a valid point. It is dangerous on the set of the Transformers movies. And it’s not just because of Michael Bay.
