Bethenny Frankel is quitting Bravo’s reality show The Real Housewives of New York City, the natural foods chef told Us Weekly. Frankel said she has rejected Bravo’s offers for her to return for the series’ fourth season. “Last season was scary and painful,” said Frankel. “My gut’s saying not to be part of this cast.” However, according to Us Weekly, Frankel is contractually obligated to make a few appearances on Real Housewives, which starts shooting Sept. 20. Bravo debuted Frankel’s spinoff show, Bethenny Getting Married?, in June to more than 2 million viewers.
UPDATE: A spokesperson at Bravo said the network had no comment about Frankel’s appearance on future seasons of Real Housewives or ongoing negotiations.
She doesn’t need them, but she was my favorite part of the show so it’ll be a bummer to not have her on there.. as long as she has her own show i’ll be happy.
I liked the friendship between her, Ramona and Alex. It;’ll be too bad she’s going.
The 3 of them should do a show apart from the toxic Jill, Countess and Crazy-Ass Kelly. I’d watch that instead.
That would be a show worth watching, Bethenny, Ramona and Alex.
Well, great.. now I won’t be watching RH of Jersey OR New York. Oh well.

Yeah. I loved her but this is much preferable to acting fake with Jill at group dinners and either having to accept everything Jill said/did or talk about why she can’t be around her for a whole other season… damn you Jill for ruining the show with your big EGO!!!
On Ramona’s FB there was a debate about Jill attacking Alex all season. Jill is old and can’t keep friends or make real friends. I just hope that Alex holds her own again this season.
She was definitely my favorite cast member. I’m going to hate see her go. I wish her all the best in her endeavors off camera!

She’s my favorite! As long as BGM is still on I’m ok. Will not be watching RH though. Oh well.
Never watched it and don’t understand why these women woul dget paid to act like entitled a holes on TV. Something tells me her gut will improve if they increase her $$$$$$$$$$.
Suits me fine. As long as I can still get my dose of Bethenny funny on Bethenny Getting Married, I’ll gladly skip the RHoNY phony drama and cattiness. (Especially if it means no moore Kelly!)

Funny! Love Bethenny and I think she made the right decision. Very happy I can still get my dose of Bethenny in her delightful show, which is refreshing compared tom the histrionics and mean spiritedness the HW franchise thrives on. Will probably still watch NYC b/c I do like Sonja and Ramona.
