French director Alain Corneau passes away

The Associated Press reports Alain Corneau, the director of such French films as Tous les Matins du Monde, died Monday after a battle with cancer. He was 67 years old. Corneau’s most recent movie, Love Crime, opened in French theaters this month.

That’s very sad. He was a true artist. “Tous les Matins du Monde” is a masterpiece.
