Remy Gonzalez, brother-in-law of Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro Jr., was arrested on Aug. 18 on a number of sex-related charges, according to the Star Ledger. Gonzalez, who is a baker on the show, faces charges of aggravated sexual assault, criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child. He is currently behind bars in New Jersey’s Morris County jail. His next hearing is scheduled for September. TLC released the following statement: “We support Buddy and the Valastro family during this very difficult and challenging time. The network respects the family’s wish for as much privacy as possible, and as this doesn’t involve us, we will not be commenting any further.”

As far as I know, I’ve never really seen them bring their day-to-day private lives to the show.
Apparently, the problem is with bringing their privates into their day-to-day lives.

It is funny, of all of Buddy’s crazy family members, I always found Remy to be the only one who is sorta icky. Well sister Mary is icky too but in a different way. I digress. How embarrassing for all of them!!

I dont even know why they started this show. In all of the bakers they could have gotten, they chose them. It’s obnoxious and needs to get off the air. They can have all the privacy they want.

The show is great.Hope the show stays on the air. How come where not hearing about the girl that was supposedly molested? Is this an acquisition .How did Ramey have the time to do this? They our so busy at the bakery and the show, The girl and maybe her family MIGHT just want money.Who knows?
Why do you use a word like “supposedly”? Why do you feel the girl is obligated to present herself to the public? Whatever it is she needs to say will be said to the police and the judicial system. Those were pretty serious charges Remy was brought up on and I can’t help but notice that no one is stepping up to bail him out. And finally, why go after a nothing like Remy if it’s money you want? I had to google the guy just to remember what he looked like. He did it. He is on record as having admitted it. Naturally, like the POS that he is, he has downplayed his perversions as “not as serious as they’re making them out to be”. I believe the Boston Strangler was heard to utter the self same type of nonsense when he finally got caught at it too.
You really need help. How is it that the victim turns into the bad guy? If they arrested him and nobody would bother to post bail for him, I’m sure there is a lot more that we aren’t hearing. When would he have time? Ummm he doesn’t work 24 hours a day. It takes no time to be a dirtbag. Maybe you should take some time to learn how to spell.
I heard the child was between the ages of 13-16 and it was a boy! I’m wondering how Lisa is goingto explian to her kids why their dad is in jail……..and the awnser will be horrible.
