I am dumbfounded that Lost did not win in the music category. Go to Youtube to see all the clips of how Giacchino’s score adds SO much to that series. I’m a regular 24 watcher too, but I honestly can’t remember any music from any scene that stayed with me. Which is not the case with LOST.
Really happy for Neil Patrick Harris winning for Glee. He totally deserved that one.
The main disappointment (the only disappointment, really) is the lack of Lost love. Elizabeth Mitchell should’ve won for Best Guest Actress in a Drama, but the biggest snub, IMO, was not giving Michael Giacchino an Emmy for his outstanding work on Lost’s score.
I am shocked that the brilliant composer Michael Giacchino did not win for his outstanding work on Lost.
I watched both o malley and nph on glee and i will agree glee made a big mistake not entering in drama. Why? Most of the shows better performances were drama and not comedy i feel they did this as the emmies this year are weak in the comedy genre and i honestly hope they lose to modern family, which is funnier. Though i would say that this decission was made to win the show an emmy proably for best show. Glee got alot of nods this year it deserved and didn’t and even more it should have i jsut think this is a win at any cost decission if it had been drama o malley would have an emmy and proably Kristin chenoweth too.
I love you Betty White. I love, love, love you. You are my hero and I am so happy that you are on top of your game more now than ever!!!
Kinda po’d that Mike O’Malley didn’t win…way to inflate NPH’s massive ego some more. I agree with the poster who said the award is for guest actor, not guest comedian. I found NPH’s episode one of the weakest of the second half of the season.
Jeff Probst won again? Come on!
Yay for Ann-Margret…even if was something of a consolation prize for all the times she’s been overlooked before. She should have won at least two others by now.
i also always wonder why they can’t present these 4 awards on the show. people may get ticked at me, but maybe the writers and directors should get pres. at the pre-show? guest spots are usually THE best perfs in their respective shows why can’t we see them accept their awards?
