Stephen Colbert is hosting two Comedy Central specials to commemorate the end of U.S. combat operations in Iraq and honor the troops returning home. “Been There, Won That: The Returnification of the American-Do Troopscape” will be taped and aired on Sept. 8 and 9, featuring an audience composed entirely of Iraq war veterans, both in the studio and via satellite from Walter Reed Army Hospital and Afghanistan. Special guests will include Vice President Joe Biden and Commanding General Ray Odierno (the soldier who shaved Colbert’s head at last June).

Colbert’s a classy guy. He might rip on U.S. foreign policy at times, but, boy, does he love the troops!
I’m pretty sure that’s one of the main reasons WHY he “rips on U.S. foreign policy” at times. If you truly care about the troops, it means a lot to take care with when, where and why they are deployed.
it is possible to point out what you think is wrong with government and the wars and still be on the side of the troops. there are many who forget that and attack those who question these things and who simply refuse to be sheep.
Here here! Our troops deserve a Colbert party! Hope they have a fantastic time! Welcome home & THANK YOU!!
Honestly, why is everyone so in love the troops? They’re just a bunch of unintelligent paid killers with a horrible, intolerant policy toward gay people!
Don’t confuse foreign policy with the people who’s work it is to carry it out. You’re the one who seems unintelligent.
We’re “in love” with them because they risk death and grave bodily injury to protect our interests in foreign, often hostile lands. And if you think troops are the people who developed and mandated Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, then you’re the unintelligent one. That’s a matter of policy set by the leaders of the military and the US government, not something that troops decide on or even enforce.
single people gather here, for the one common goal. Search and meet their friends or dream lovers!!! it always worths the efforts to try! life is a journey, no body wants to be alone! anyway, that’s what I heard from a hot and sincere person from== R i c h f l i r t s— C_o/m ==
