Oscar-winning actor Michael Douglas announced today that he has a tumor in his throat, People.com is reporting. He will undergo eight weeks of chemotherapy and radiation to treat the tumor and says he is “very optimistic” about the outcome. Douglas, 65, will next be seen on screen in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, which is set for release on Sept. 24.

This is sad news. He’s a great actor.
Good thoughts for him and what I hope is a fast recovery through this.

I am a retired policeman and came down with a cancer tumor on the base of my tongue matastic to the lymph nodes. Same as Michael. I am in the fourth month of treatment of radiation and chemo.Good prognosis of cure. Pray for Michael it sure helps. The process is tough. He needs your thoughts and prayers.
