ABC is ordering a fourth season of summer reality series Wipeout, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Next year’s season will feature two new obstacle courses inculding a new “motivator” for the Big Balls. Wipeout has been airing twice weekly this summer at 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Love Wipeout, but can we go back to the obstacles that are possible, but really really hard? It’s not as much fun when there’s no chance that a contestant can make it – if there’s just a glimmer of hope (however unlikely) – that makes it so much better!
Also, can we put the kibosh on the baseball-themed obstacle course? Once per season would have been PLENTY on that.

This is a phenomenal summer hit, ABC. Order more than 18 episodes next summer so that we can get fresh episodes twice a week. Although, I must admit I watch the repeats. Sometimes the guys in the booth are cranking outs the jokes so fast you can’t catch them all the first time you see the show. Also what I really would like to know is when will Disney turn the Wipeout show into a theme park?
