She’s way too young to get married.
Well, this way she can get her first divorce out of the way sooner. Then she’ll be on her way to marriage #2 while she’s still in her twenties.
When you’re washed up at 20 its kinda the only thing left to do to get publicity.
How old is she? 23? It may be young for Hollywood but I wouldn’t say it is too young to be married. Do we want her to be another Lohan?

Too young? Not necessarily. I know one person who was married at the age of 23, and seven years later she is still happily married to her husband with two beautiful kids. I know another person married at 24 who divorced three years later. Sometimes it’s not necessarily about age as it is about maturity. The one who got divorced was immature. We all knew it before she got married, but she didn’t listen to anyone because she wanted her fairytale wedding.
So who’s to say if Hilary Duff is mature enough to handle a marriage or not? We don’t know her personally. I wish them the best though. They’ve been together for 3 years now, so at least they didn’t jump into it hastily.
I understand what you’re saying Nick. It really does depends on the couple however statistically people who marry earlier (say early 20s) are more likely to break up. That compounded with the divorce rate these days in our regular old world let alone Hollywood – the odds are very much against them. As far as it goes with young singers, look at Britney, Jessica Simpson, Avril Lavigne and the many others who came before her.
Though heck, who knows. I don’t much about this couple but considering they had an adequate period of courtship – maybe they will make it?
