In the midst of all the publicity-churning speculation over who will be American Idol’s new judges, host Ryan Seacrest admitted that it could be weeks before the final lineup is announced. The AP reports that Seacrest also did not know how big the new panel will be. Names like Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez have been floating around the industry ether as possible replacements for departing judges Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres.

They may all be singers (or actors for the first two), but they are diverse and would make for great judges/mentors for the contestants…and be entertaining.
Frankly, I’m getting tired of hearing about it. They are not saying anything new. I am a big AI fan but I don’t want to hear about it 24/7. I say wait until they actually make the announcement who the new judges will be. Enough of speculation already! Move on!
The producers are very shrewd. Getting everyone worked up on who the new judges will be is a great way to keep AI in the press during their down season? Didn’t they do the same thing last year after Paula left?
One thing I don’t understand is I believe they have already begun auditions for this year. Who is judging? Randy?

JLo would be good on the show, Dont think Tyler would be so good or Brett Micheals, maybe they need to find someone older & more mature, and who has been in the recording business, singer or likewise, to manyaround the same age tend to think the same way. Versatile thinking would help.
