Charlie Sheen pleaded guilty today in an Aspen court to a misdemeanor assault charge stemming from a Christmas Day argument with his wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen, the AP reports. In exchange for Sheen’s plea, Pitikin County (Colorado) prosecutors withdrew a felony menacing charge and criminal mischief charge. The 44-year-old Two and a Half Men star was ordered to spend 30 days in a rehabilitation facility, and was also sentenced to 30 days of probation and 36 hours of anger management counseling. In a statement after his hearing, Sheen said: ”I’m very grateful to the court and to the people of Pitkin County. I look forward to complying with the court’s decision, getting on with my life and putting this behind me.” The actor was expected back on the Men set tomorrow to begin shooting the eighth season.

Rehab is the new jail for the stars. Bet if he was doing 2 1/2 years instead of 2 1/2 Men he’d feel differently when Bubba assaulted him.
Charlie’s career should be over just like CHris Browns who was a teenager when he committed domestic violence. Brown’s career is over, but Charlie, a grown man still has a high paying tv job and is still loved by the media. Shame on the media, CBS and Charlie Sheen.
Ridiculous. Sheen should be getting the same treatment that Mel Gibson got. He’s actually been convicted of something, which is further along than Mel so far. The celebrity coddling by people who break the law is out of control.

The bedroom at 0:18 and the dinnig room at 0:39 do not belong to this house. I have the complete set of realtor photos (95 photos in all) of the house. It has two large sun terraces at the rear which are connected to the house (not including the pool area). I can’t see Charlie living here (of if he did, it wouldnt have been for long) as there is little privacy. The front balcony looks out at the house directly across the street and there’s a house at the back that looks down at the rear garden.

Why are people so quick to condemn Mel Gibson for threatening to beat his “wife”, and so quick to forgive Charlie Sheen for actually beating his wife?
