GLAAD gives MTV, CW top marks on diversity

GLAAD, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, has released its annual analysis of the portrayal of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender characters. MTV received the first-ever “excellent” rating, with 42 percent of its primetime programming reflecting the lives of the community. The CW was the top-rated broadcast network with a “good” 35 percent.

    CBS is pathetic – in all its many many scripted shows including the crime shows with huge casts, there is not a single gay character. Pathetic.
