Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg will play himself (in animated form) on an upcoming episode of The Simpsons, according to New York magazine’s Vulture blog. Zuckerberg, the subject of the anticipated fall film The Social Network, will reportedly encounter wee Lisa Simpson at a business convention. I love how out of touch and behind the times The Simpsons is lately. This would have been much more “hip” five years ago.
Ugghh…remember when The Simpsons used to have real celebrities on its show? Now we have to deal with this and opening credits of everyone lip-syncing to Kesha songs! Who’s next…the Kardashians?!
Yeah – the Simpsons’ celebrity guests used to be timeless celebrities (or at least “bigger” celebrities than the flavor of the day).
