Beauty pageant contestant turned political lightning rod Carrie Prejean married Oakland Raiders quarterback Kyle Boller in San Diego last night, according to E! Online. Prejean, 23, and Boller, 29, have been a couple for about a year and got engaged in February. Prejean has been an outspoken opponent of same-sex marriage since being asked about it during the Miss USA pageant in 2009.

It is a sad day in America when the truth cannot be spoken without hate messages following it. Regardless of how one feel about same sex marriage, The Word will prevail. I am so happy for Carrie and Kyle, may you have a great life together and your children be wonderfully blessed.

Having watched this guy ‘play’ for a few years in Baltimore, trust me when I say he will probably fail to live up to all of the hype, and eventually get replaced by a guy who is older – past his prime – and yet still better than Kyle Boller.

She answered a direct question posed to her by one of the judges, who clearly was interested in making a political point on national TV that he supported same sex marriage and that everyone else should too. I don’t suppport Prejean, but I also don’t support shaming people who disagree with me.
