Los Angeles prosecutors have charged actor Jeffrey Jones, best known for his role as Principal Rooney in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, with failing to update his sex offender registration information, according to the Associated Press. Jones pleaded no contest in 2003 to a felony charge stemming from his hiring of a 14-year-old boy to pose for sexually explicit snapshots. A Los Angeles judge sentenced the actor to five years probation and ordered him to undergo counseling and be placed on a registry of sex offenders for the rest of his life.
The AP reports that Jones was arrested on June 23 and charged on Wednesday. He will be arraigned July 14.

ActingCrazy – Some of us do avoid movies, sports teams, music, products, stores, etc becuase of the behavior of the actors, players, producers, use of sweatshops, etc. I would not call Deb a liar becuase it is the truth, I do the exact same thing. You could not pay me to listen to a Chris Brown song, I don’t shop at WalMart and my daughter does not watch or listen to Hannah Montana. I have a life and can spend my money and time on more positive activities and outlets.
I agree with Deb. Beetlejuice has been a favorite on mine since childhood, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to watch it again. Personally, I can’t sit through five minutes of Powder, or Jeepers Creepers when they’re on TV, directed by another pedophile, Victor Salva, without feeling like I have to barf. Is there a more sickening crime imaginable than child sexual abuse? I really don’t understand the lax punishments for these worthless pieces of human excrement. Pedophiles can’t get better. They can only continue to destroy innocent souls. They all should be getting 20 to life. I watch movies for escape, and these are exactly the types of things I don’t want to be thinking about.
