Constance Zimmer, who plays feisty studio exec Dana Gordon on HBO’s Entourage, announced her engagement to commercial director Russ Lamoureux, People.com reports. The couple, who have been together for three years, plan to wed this fall. They welcomed a daughter, Collette Zoe, in January 2008.

'Poseidon Adventure' director Ronald Neame dies at 99
British filmmaker Ronald Neame, whose directing credits include 1972′s Poseidon Adventure and 1969′s The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, died Wednesday in Los Angeles at age 99. Neame began his long movie career as an assistant cameraman on Alfred Hitchcock’s 1929 film Blackmail, the first British feature made with sound. He went on to work as a cinematographer, director, screenwriter, and producer of dozens of films. He received three Oscar nominations, for the special effects on One of Our Aircraft Is Missing (1942) and for co-writing Brief Encounter (1945) and Great Expectations (1946). On the latter two films, Neame also served as a producer with David Lean and Anthony Havelock-Allan under a short-lived but fruitful partnership called Cineguild.
CNN to air Gulf oil spill telethon
CNN will air a telethon during a special two-hour edition of Larry King Live on Monday at 8 p.m. to benefit the victims of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Among the celebrities set to appear are Justin Bieber, Cameron Diaz, Ted Danson, Randy Jackson, and Robert Redford. Guests will participate both in the studio and via satellite and will man the phone banks. Sting is scheduled to perform and Ryan Seacrest will host an online suite.
Lindsay Lohan tests negative for alcohol
According to People, Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer confirmed that the actress tested negative for alcohol after her SCRAM bracelet was set off at an MTV Movie Awards after-party. People reports, however, that the L.A. district attorney spokeswoman did not know about the test results, and, ultimately, it’s still not clear why the bracelet had set off an alert. Lohan’s probation violation hearing will take place on July 6.
'Sopranos' star gets DUI arrest
Joseph Gannascoli, who played gay mafioso Vito Spatafore on HBO’s The Sopranos, was arrested on a DUI charge in Tampa, FL, this morning, according to The Associated Press. He reportedly posted a $500 bond and was expected to be released from custody.
Mark Twain manuscript sells for $242,500
A 64-page, handwritten tribute from Mark Twain to his daughter sold at a Sotheby’s auction Thursday for $242,500, almost doubling pre-sale estimates, according to Yahoo! News. Twain’s daughter, Olivia “Susy” Clemens, died of spinal meningitis at the age of 24 after inspiring some of his stories and writing her own biography of her father.
Man arrested for allegedly kidnapping Jeremy London
26-year-old Palm Springs resident Brandon Adams has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping Party of Five actor Jeremy London, according to the Associated Press. London says he was kidnapped June 10 while changing a flat tire; he claims he was helped by several men, but upon offering them a ride home, one pulled a gun and forced London to drive around and do drugs, then stole London’s car. According to London’s publicist, the actor is cooperating with police from an undisclosed location.
Adams has been charged with kidnapping, and remains in jail.
'Ugly Betty' star America Ferrera engaged
According to People, Ugly Betty star America Ferrera is engaged. Ferrara, 26, will marry longtime boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams; the two met when Williams cast Ferrera in his USC student film.
Oprah Winfrey, The Muppets to get star on Walk of Fame
According to the Associated Press, Oprah Winfrey, The Muppets, Penelope Cruz, and will.i.am are among 30 new celebrities to be honored with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Others who made the cut: Gwyneth Paltrow, Melissa Etheridge, Donald Sutherland, Los Tigres Del Norte, Rascal Flatts, Reese Witherspoon, Danny DeVito, and Tina Fey.
