According to Variety, Paramount emerged as the first studio of 2010 to cross the $1 billion benchmark in domestic grosses. Under the leadership of chair-CEO Brad Grey, and fueled by the successes of Iron Man 2 and How to Train Your Dragon, Paramount’s domestic revenues reached $1.005 billion as of this weekend. 20th Century Fox is poised to soon pass the $1 billion mark as well.
