How should I feel if I’m a female who is 38? I guess I’m out of the target audience – oh well!
Agreed. I am a 29/F and I’ve always enjoyed this show. I thought it had mass appeal among the nerdy genders.
32, female and I ADORE the show!!! I was unhappy with the movies, though. I thought they were closer to the lameness of Family Guy than to the cleverness of what made Futurama great. So, I hope the new show is back to greatness.
35 female. LOVE this show. You gotta love the geeky sci fi love on this show. Make famous pop culture references and make them for the future. Genius. Still love the show that brought the cast of Star Trek on.
yey!!!!!!!
No cable. Couldn’t watch. Sad.
Was it better than the movies and more like the original show?
Yes, the return of “Futurama” proved again that the show works much better as half-hour episodes than in “movie” form. I’m sure it’ll eventually be collected on DVD so you can see them all.
I loved the movies, especially the first one. I thought it had a pretty smart story, akin to something we might have seen in the series itself. The rest I enjoyed, but that could just have been because I was fiending for anything Futurama and was just happy to take what I could get. I should go back and watch them now that the new season is airing and see if I feel the same way about the last three movies as I did the first.
I loved Futurama when it was on Fox and I am so glad that Comedy Central brought it back.
