I note that he did not retract the comments, only voiced regret for the impact they had. He’s not sorry for what he said, he’s just sorry that so many people read RS magazine.

During the time I lived in NM, 75-82, Las Vegas was the homicide, druc, and violence leader in the state.

???? There’s a Las Vegas in New Mexico? I learn something new every day. lol

You’re not missing much. I lived in Alamogordo, NM for two years and it was just as bad.

“Heat”-was great. Rolling Stone is probably feeling pretty good about themselves. Personally I haven’t read the magazine in ten years or more. It sucks….

I run a unisex salon in Gallop, NM. We do have our share of crime and drunks but Val Kilmer was in for a Brazillian Wax Special last month and he was a total Gentleman. He also has very soft and smooth skin for a fat guy.

My partner and I stayed a the Kilmer Bed and Breakfast for two nights and we both got crabs. Pretty sure it was from the bed sheets. The marmalade was fantastic though; Sooo Tangy! And they had a mini museum with tissue cultures from Val Kilmer’s face mole! Still, I don’t think I can give it an overall thumbs up recommend.

What he should be sorry about is his acting career. Val “Straight To DVD” Kilmer.

WOW Barry!!! How rich for you to criticize the career of a public figure who is making CA$H from his work. I wonder if we could all see YOUR earth shattering career and review it if we would also be so disappointed. Barry, Smell the Glove!

Brent; You forgot Roswell it ought to be good for sumthin’. Idea! send RS there maybe they can get an interview with the green guys. They’re celebs, right?

    Val Kilmer= Coke Head Freak.

Val’s bed and breakfast just got a few days of free global advertising. Who had even heard of it before?? Now there are posted comments about people wanting to stay there. The story snuck in through the back door, and Val made out like a bandit.

What a shame for Kilmer to back down from a very true statement just to get his B&B. My family is from NM. My brother was an ER nurse at the hospital in Las Vegas and attests to the violence from what he witnessed at the ER.

  • Beth

Well, here’s a question……If this place is such a chithole, why is Val Kilmer so eager to set up shop there? And, especially a B&B….that’s like saying, “This place is really dangerous, but come stay here in my B&B anyway!”

Rolling Stone is one of the most leftist magazines in existance. They never have an article that is the least bit middle of the road let alone a view from the right

    • Hutchy

I’m not sure if thats supposed to be an insult or a statement. They would completely agree with you, by the way, if you made that statement. It really only works as an insult if the person you are accusing is ashamed of it.

  • Silek

is it even leagal to make someone think or say something they don’t believe before you will issue them a permit? no one seems to be upset about that.
