Chris Harrison to interview Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi

WHY, WHY, WHY is this happening? I’ve actually been enjoying The Bachelorette this season (well to laugh at anyway) and sadly I was looking forward to The Bachelor Pad, expecting an absolute trainwreck of craziness. Now Jake is going to pop up on both of them? This may be enough of a reason not to watch the Bachelor Pad. Please make Jake go away! Based on his cover story on PEOPLE, he is clearly out for fame only. Who supposedly breaks up with a fiancee by phone on a Monday and is on the cover of PEOPLE magazine less than 2 days later? He had this all orchestrated ahead of time in attempt to maximize his exposure. I never thought I’d say this but his pathetic attempt for fame and publicity actually makes Kate Gosselin look better.

Shocking news! Poor Chris Harrison. This has got to be depressing for him. He seems like a decent dude, pretty witty, seems capable, his blogs are pretty well done, and somehow he gets stuck with this drivel, constantly. Will somebody give this guy a chance to do something else, please? He’s one of the few hosts that I have seen on TV that seem capable of doing more. I’m not saying he should host Meet The Press or anything, but c’mon.

OH! Sad! I still love you, Jake. But, it serves you right for choosing sex over a good girl like Tenley. Can’t wait to see The Bachelorette Monday and Bachelor Pad in August. YAY!

Out of all the bachelors, why are we forced to care about Jake? lamest person and bachelor ever. Ugh.

These two people went on a TV show to find love. True love. They had cameras following them everywhere they went and microphones picking up every word they spoke. They travelled to far away romantic settings. Of course they fell in love. In that atmosphere, who wouldn’t? My cut at this is, first of all, Jake is 31 (if I remember correctly) and Vienna is in her early 20′s. That’s a huge age difference at that point. She’s still very immature and awestruck by everything; Jake has been “around” and is older. I also believe that he has become quite star struck and wants to now be in show business. That’s really a shame because he was on a game show – nothing more. That doesn’t make him a movie star in any sense of the imagination. They are both making fools of themselves at this point, but in the career path he is attempting to follow, I think he already knows that even bad publicity is good publicity. I didn’t agree with his choice on the Bachelor, however, it was his choice to make. I tend to believe Vienna, however, just based on his actions and expressions during their interview. He was pushing her buttons, knowing how upset she would become. He was laughing at her as she attempted to explain the reasons she did what she did. She was hysterical and kept interrupting because he set her up to do so. After she left the interview in tears, he sat there with this “Poor me, see what I’ve been going through” look on his face that I found very distasteful and disappointing. He treated her like a child, scolding her; he stopped giving her the attention she needed and he KNEW how she was when he chose her. Personally, I think she was used and then tossed aside for Jake’s own personal gain. I hope she DOES profit from this break-up and I believe that Jake will be back to being a pilot again as soon as all of this dies down. I certainly don’t see him becoming a star; he’s aired out too much dirty laundry. That’s supposed to come AFTER stardom is obtained; not before.
