ABC has confirmed ET‘s report that Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi will be interviewed side-by-side by Bachelor host Chris Harrison. The interview will air on the July 5 episode of The Bachelorette; it will be the first time Pavelka and Girardi sit down together for an interview following their break-up.
UPDATE: ABC also confirms that while production on Bachelor Pad has wrapped, Pavelka will appear on the show “in some capacity.”

Beth…I think the producer, Mike Fleiss, is the one who wants to prolong the 15 minutes. The more drama there is, the more we watch his shows, and the more $$ goes into his pocket.

That will give Jake time to learn lines for July 5th as I am sure it will be scripted. We all knew this was not a match made to last!
I hope Handsome Harrison slaps them both and kicks them out off stage saying “you make me sick, like strawberry quick and Joel McHale”.
To which Jake says “You don’t understand! I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I could’ve been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am.”

ITA. I used to like Chris, first discovering him on TLC and Designer Challenge; now not so much. I can’t believe he’s still associated with this piece of a crap show. Plus he’s lied after Reality Steve bust the bubble open on this farce. Why do we keep tuning in?
Is he finally coming out of the closet? Otherwise, with others they just want the publicity.
The whole aftermath of this private breakup is being fueled by producer Mike Fleiss’s desire to boost viewership for his 3 shows and pad his wallet!! Doesn’t anyone find it strange that the couple will be interviewed on the Bachelorette on July 5?? This is ALI’s show for heaven sake. I guess she wasn’t getting good enough ratings. Also strange how this just happened to occur in time for Jake to put in an appearance on the Bachelor Pad. Remember when Fleiss threw Jason under the bus by televising a fake breakup with Melissa. Oh, the drama!!! And poor poor poor Melissa…who was dating her current husband before the show even started. The breakup actually happened weeks before the TV show, and was no surprise to anyone. I wish Fleiss would look for more ways to encourage romance and lasting love…and fewer ways to encourage drunkeness and drama, starting with the casting.
As long as the drama keeps lining his pockets with cash, Fleiss isn’t changing a thing.

13 bachelors and 3 bachelorettes have broken up with the recepients of their final rose. Why all the hand wringing and spilled ink about Jake and Vienna?
I think ABC is planning on having Jake and Ali hook up after her horrible stint as “The Bachelorette” ends with her choosing nobody! Then at the After the Final Rose show, Jake will come out an express his undying love and they will live happily ever after…YUCK!!
Why do people continue to watch this show, when it always ends the same?
