Teen Choice awards: Fox announces first wave of nominees

In a press release, Fox announced the first wave of nominees for the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, which will air Aug. 9 on the network. Iron Man 2 and Gossip Girl lead the pack of nominees with six nods. Close behind are Glee and The Twilight Saga: New Moon, both of which nabbed five nominations. Teens can begin voting for nominees today on the award show’s website.

    Wow, another stupid award ceremony for Twilight to snub everything.

      Meh, it’s the Teen Choice Awards, it’s not like its prestigous or something.

    The List actually doesn’t look to bad. I mean yeah, Twilight will probably win everything in its category…but not if I can help it lol.

    it’s the teen choice awards, not the most prestigious awards show around…

    I wish the Teen Choice Awards were around when I was a teen. At least some talent would be been nominated, unlike now.

    There’s usually a good bunch of talent nominated- they just don’t usually win.

    I like Gossip Girl but the whole season was a hot mess. Six nominations, really? What about The Vampire Diaries?

    Oh, great…a repeat of the MTV Movie Awards…yawn. Why even bother nominating others when it seems everyone will vote for the most undeserving?
