A rep for Jodie Foster denies that the actress attacked a teen outside an L.A. mall, telling People that the story is a “fabrication.” “This guy was most definitely a professional paparazzo,” the actress’ rep told People. “He had a large camera bag and 1000mm telephoto lens. He tailed Jodie and followed her all the way from the movie theater to the valet.” The incident in question happened on May 29, according to police reports. The 17-year-old claimed Foster “came after him [and] poked him in the chest” and “pushed and shoved him leaving scratches and bruises on his arm” after he asked her for a photo.

Ugh, almost wish his accusations were true – I’d like her more. Paparazzi are incredible douchebags. We should give all actors leeway to attack them whenever they’re accosted while simply living their lives and not at an “event.”
I tend to believe Jodie. Firstly, that John Hinckley thing was very frightening for her, it still creeps me out for her. Secondly, if she had her kids with her, that teen got what he deserved because anyone with half a brain knows about a mother protecting her children, especially when they are small. I am sure that she is no exception to that rule.
The kid’s parents say he’s not a paparazzo? I guess they neglected to teach him that it’s rude to take photos of people without asking their permission.
