The football player — who was arrested this morning — has also been charged with patronizing a prostitute in the third degree. “He’s denying the whole thing,” his lawyer told the New York Times. “We’re going to fight these charges as hard as he fought when he was a linebacker for the New York Giants.” Taylor was arrested this morning.

Chris Brown has completed 300 hours of community service so far
Chris Brown was back in a Los Angeles courtroom Thursday morning for a progress update on his probation, the AP reports. The 21-year-old singer was sentenced last year to five years of probation and six months of community labor for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna. Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, said that his client has so far completed nearly 300 hours of community service, or about 20 percent of the labor he’s required to perform. Brown is also undergoing domestic violence counseling, which Geragos said the singer should finish in October. Brown is expected back in court for another update on Aug. 26.
Did 'Babies' violate child labor laws?
The Associated Press reports the documentary Babies might have violated child labor laws. Under California law, infants are only allowed to be filmed for 20 minutes a day, and must be at least 15 days old.
Since one of the babies featured in the documentary — which chronicles the lives of four babies from birth until their first steps — is from California, the filmmakers could have violated the law. Though the director, Thomas Balmes, told the AP he hardly disturbed the lives of his subjects — and that the babies weren’t actually working — an investigation could be greenlit against the filmmakers if the state labor commissioner’s office sees it fit. If it’s decided Babies did violate the law, the filmmakers could be fined anywhere from $50 to $5,000, and be precluded “from getting a permit to film in California in the future,” according to the commissioner’s office.

Gabrielle Union sued by boyfriend's wife for alleged foreplay in front of children
Actress Gabrielle Union (FlashForward) and her NBA star boyfriend, Dwyane Wade, are being sued by Wade’s wife, who claims the couple have engaged in “sexual foreplay” in front of the Wades’ two children, reports the Chicago Sun-Times. Siohvaughn Wade, who is in the process of divorcing Dwyane Wade, says that the couples’ inappropriate conduct has inflicted severe emotional distress on her two sons, aged two and eight. The suit also claims that Union and Dwyane Wade have put the children in danger by allowing them to play unsupervised near the family’s pool and allowing the oldest child to sit in the front seat of the car. Siohvaughn Wade has asked for more than $50,000 in damages from Union in the suit. “I can state with certainty that the claims Siohvaughn made about Gabrielle are untrue,” said Dwyane Wade in the statement. A rep for Union also released a statement, asserting that “each and every allegation made is entirely false.”
