Reuters is reporting that Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to an L.A. court for a probation hearing on Thursday that could end with jail time for the actress for reportedly missing alcohol education classes. She’d been ordered to take the classes after a 2007 drunk driving case. Lohan is currently in France at the Cannes Film Festival.

How can she afford to fly to the Cannes film festival if she is so broke? Did somebody bring her there? WHY? She ain’t acting anymore is she?

I’m always amazed that she continues to receive invitations to these events. Would YOU want her representing you or even attending your party if you were a studio or other service associated with show business? Good heavens.
In Europe, clubs don’t really care about celebs personal lives especially American celebrities, no matter how wasted some of them are.
So, when she misses this court date- will there be a warrant for her arrest? LL needs to do some hard time- I’m tired of celebrities getting off with a slap on the wrist. If I got a DUI, I’d be in Joe Arpaio’s tent city.
Not really. Assuming there wasn’t an accident and no one was hurt, you typically receive only a suspeneded licenses and some probation on a DUI, whether or not you are a celebrity. Jail is for repeat offenders or accidents involving injury/death.
If it were you or I, we’d be in jail all ready. But in America, the justice system doesn’t seem to work the same way for celebs.
Oh please. Lohan won’t serve any time. If the courts would stop enabling her train wreck behavior perhaps she would have a chance at improving her life (although there is no cure for borderline personality disorder).
the reports are that the judge said she would face jail time if she missed her classes or doesnt show to court. of course she will probably use the volcano issue and the fact that she may not be able to get home as an excuse. hope the judge realizes that she isnt in cannes for any specific reason except to party. she isnt offically in the movie yet and they havnt gotten permission to make it yet and refused to pay for her trip.
