He is NOT taking the death of Renee Walker very well.
Fortunately, it doesn’t seem like any Christmas trees were harmed.
good ol’ Kiefer. I love the Christmas tree video so much. I would really like to party with him!
Ah mannnnnn. I’m behind on the episodes.
Ceballos and A. Daniel – it’s really not cool to drop spoilers like that. Just because it’s aired and you have seen it already, it would’ve been considerate for you to remember that some of us have not. And the “already aired” argument doesn’t fly for several reasons, but among them is that those of us living outside the States have to either torrent or wait to view the current season. This is not a spoiler page.
MODS: I think it would be a good idea to remove these and other similar comments to spare other potential 24 fans from having their viewing experience spoiled.
I’m sorry that you got spoiled (I really am) because I can totally understand now that you didn’t click on this story expecting to see a plot point from the latest episode of “24.” I also appreciate your relatively reasoned response, because the way of the Internet is to curse me out and tell me what a horrible person I am.
However, I must say that I still find the rules about spoilers tenuous, at best.
That episode aired on Monday in the U.S. How long EXACTLY until I can make that joke or talk about it? Personally, I wouldn’t do it on Tuesday morning, but it’s Friday evening now. I thought it was safe, but obviously that’s not the case.
That being said, I honestly would like to know how long I’d have to wait until making that joke? Do I wait until the next new episode has aired? Do I wait until a particular episode of “24″ has aired all over the world? Do I wait until the DVD?! I guess I’m saying that we’re going to need to come up with a specific set of “spoiler” rules because, otherwise, no one is going to be able to talk about anything on TV.
Ceballos, it WAS a good joke. I get weary of people complaining about spoilers days after something has aired (or in some cases weeks, months or even years). Before something airs? Yes, they have a point. But everyone else shouldn’t have to tiptoe around to please other people’s slow viewing schedules (whatever their reasons). Five days later it’s not a spoiler, it’s old news.
geez Rob C get with the program..its friday already no excuse for not having watched this weeks episode
Rob: Its friday, so shaddup you whiney beeeotch..
He is NOT taking the sinking of the Titanic very well. Oh damn Rob C….did I just spoil the end of the movie for you? My bad!
Liar! There was no Xmas tree on 24 this week!
Spoilers, shmoilers. You can go to the fox website and watch the episode on Tuesday morning, whether you’re in the U.S. or not. Get off your duff Rob. Oh yeah and quit whining, especially while you’re reading a WEBSITE focused on ENTERTAINMENT NEWS! Sorry if that was harsh.
I agree with the spoiler alert warning but too many posters have different ideas at when that runs out. I’ll probably not catch this season until it’s out on DVD so pretty much expect to know some spoilers. It’s 24 so somebody’s gonna die and it will be a somewhat main character although it may not really be a death (Tony).
@Bird–actually, all US networks (including Fox) block their shows from being accessed online outside the US through their sites. So do your research before you start your bitching.
You seem to be confusing something that would spoil your enjoyment of a show you have seen with a “spoiler.” They are not one and the same. A piece of information revealed in an episode is NOT a spoiler if it’s already been publicly broadcast. Your personal reasons for not seeing it or being able to see it are irrelevant. Spoiler policy tries to prevent discussion of information that is from insider sources and has not yet been broadcast.
I hear you Ceballos (and thank you for your reasonable response). It would definitely have been a funny joke had I already known seen the episode. I’m not saying the joke shouldn’t have been made, and I don’t know the answer to what’s an appropriate time to wait, but all I’m saying is that a simple “SPOILER ALERT” before dropping the joke would’ve been appreciated, and I’m sure it wasn’t intentional on your part. I mean, it’s one thing to joke about Jack shooting or torturing a guy or shouting “THOUSANDS OF LIVES ARE AT STAKE!” because any fan of the show knows that happens with some frequency:) Rather than delve into whether the joke is technically defined as a “spoiler”, I’d argue that the revelation of the death of a major character is information that should be shared only after some consideration for others who may not have seen it. I understand that the entertainment world does not revolve around my viewing habits. Yes, this is an entertainment site, but I clicked on this particular news item because I was curious to know about what drunk Kiefer did this time, not to find out what happened in the last episode. And, as Alan of Montreal pointed out, Fox blocks edisode streaming outside of the U.S. which is where I am.
If you’re outside the US (I went on vacation for a bit out of the country/study abroad a while back), I recommend using yidio and megavideo to catch up on shows. Megavideo only allows you 72 minutes of continuous viewing, but it’s enough for one episode of anything
I agree. Renee’s death hit him hard. What was she thinking? Didn’t she know that going into the sack with Jack Bauer was a death sentence? What’s so amazing is that she didn’t even live long enough for post coitus spooning.
Yep. Love ‘em and leave ‘em….dead. That’s Bauer.
He’s known for drunkenness…Rehab!
Perhaps we should get him on that show Intervention.
Why does Kiefer Sutherland rule as a man? Because he is the only man in Hollywood that knows he has “trouble” with booze and having too much fun, but doesnt care. He shows up to work, has made a ton of money, and enjoys life. Unlike Sheen, Farrell, RDJ, or anyone else who seeked sobriety so they could save their career, Kiefer has Jack Bauer money and a good work ethic….so he says “F*CK REHAB”. Bravo Kiefer. Bravo.
i don’t like kiefer sutherland. bad person
He’s such a gross, short, little man.
he’s not a bad person, he just has a problem with alcohol. He just needs to get himself into re-hab. Little known fact (outside of Canada, anyway): His grandfather created the universal healthcare program in Canada and was recently voted the country’s favourite Canadian of all time on our national broadcaster.
So is your mother.
Those bouncers are lucky he didn’t go all Jack Bauer on them. I wonder if Chloe was there.
What a douche bag.
All these Hollywood LOSERS!
he is a good man
you dont know him
And you do?
I don’t know him personally but I’ll hazard a guess that you don’t either. I have a friend who has worked as a part time actor in Hollywood for a number of years and his few interactions with him were negative. My brother worked at a camera shop for 12 years in LA and Kiefer came in MANY times and each time was rude to whomever was trying to work with him. Lots of other stars showed up over the years and according to my brother Kiefer was by far the worst to wait on. That being said, I still love him in 24 and his “real life” personality doesn’t concern me in the least.
sounds like a jolly good time was had by all
Kiefer, Met your dad once. Your dad a nice guy. WHAT HAPPENED!?
Hey, do not listen to Ben in this blog (above comments. They are F O S.
Tell you what, you are really lucky a STRIPPER did not put you in a head lock or leg lock while you were being escorted. Just would of been embarrassing if it happened that way. Now worries, just stay away frmo Charlie Sheen for a bit because you two on the town may start a riot and such and the paparazzi….SHEESH. Hey, maybe you could get Tiger Woods therapist to help out and garner a Nike rep. contract at same time. YOU GO BOY! ; )
Wow it must nice to be so perfect, being able to judge people so quick. Dude had a bad night get real people.
do you know how happy it would make me to see a plastered keifer sutherland yelling “dammit chloe, we’re running out of time!!” while getting a lapdance?
He is just trying to recover from Renee’s death. Cut a grieving CTA agent some slack please!!
He has been kicked out of better places
I’ve been shirtless and stumbling at 4 am before.. I’ve also been escorted out of strip clubs before… sounds like a decent night out and a good story afterwards.. whats the big friggan deal.. not like he shot someone.. he prolly just pinched some strippers ass.
Whatya expect. The man has lost every girlfriend he’s ever had in 24. At least he got some before this last one died.
Really, dude’s just having a good time. Sounds like college to me.
