Jesse James is officially shutting down rumors of a sex tape featuring him and his wife, Sandra Bullock. “The claims of sex tapes are untrue and completely fabricated,” said a rep for James in an exclusive statement to People. Bullock issued a similar denial earlier this week.

Agree, TorontoTom, let this story go. Some of my relationships wouldn’t stand the glaring scrutiny of 24/7 press coverage and headlines. Yech. Whatever he did or didn’t do, whatever she knew or didn’t know, I don’t see why this has got to be story #1 every day. Sandra is, for me, a marvelous actress who triumphed in The Blind Side. Her personal life has always been private – so let this be already.
