Sandra Bullock: 'There is no sex tape'

Sandra Bullock has finally broken her silence, denying internet reports about the existence of a sex tape with her and her husband Jesse James. “There is no sex tape,” the 45-year-old actress told People. “There never has been one and there never will be one.” Bullock had not commented on her marriage crisis until now, remaining in seclusion since reports that James, 40, cheated on her with at least four other women. She spoke out in response to an online report that James possesses a graphic sex tape which he could possibly use as leverage in a divorce case.

oh sandra, why even responde to this? keep taking the high road!

    • etm

I know – why respond to this ridiculousness?!

    • wino

maybe she just snapped? who knows what she is feeling and thinking. i am surprised she even acknowledged this rumour but maybe its her way of slowly coming out to talk about the issue?

Wow! Poor woman has been put through the ringer, and she has not done anything wrong. My heart goes out to her.

    • Kat

My heart so goes out to her too. She should be basking in her well deserved Oscar triumph. As well, she hauled in hundreds of millions of dollars at the Box Office last year between The Blind Side and The Proposal. As well, she received piles of trophies for her stellar work – but – instead if reveling in the glow of her superb achievements, she’s embroiled in a nasty, disgusting, murky marital dissolution. YUK. This too shall pass, Ms. B. Onwards & upwards!

      • Lala

My sentiments exactly. She will rise above. It’s just extremely difficult in the meantime, unfortunately.

Good, cause otherwise, this would have been a warped version of that old “Action” episode she once did.

    • Eric

Wow, I thought I was the only one who watched that show. I loved it.

  • VJ

Unfortunately with the internet, all someone has to do is just “put it out there”. Once I read what was supposedly on this tape, I knew it was made up. It’s just too wild and over the top. Can’t believe people are actually buying into it.

I think it is odd in the extreme that she has been silent up until now, and when she finally speaks it is to make this statement.

    • Brooke

It’s the first time she’s been accused her of doing something, so I’m not surprised. Making statements about her husband’s character could open her up to libel accusations, especially if he decides to challenge the prenup or do something else shady during the divorce proceedings. Legally, she’s better off keeping quiet.

      • Sue1

I agree, if there was ever a time to say something, it was now. Denying this nonsense will certainly make her feel better, and give her a little control back.

I think Sandra’s great. She’s going through something awful.

However, she married a “bad boy” and now the whole world is shocked when he turns out to actually be bad?

He’s a former bodyguard, motorcycle-riding, tattooed thug. He used to be married to a porn star and he only works for cash.

The world is really shocked that this is the kind of guy who would cheat on his wife? I’m just shocked he got caught. He seemed smarter than that.

Honestly, I think she just thought he’d had his fun and was worn out and ready to finally settle down. Plenty of men (and women) with wild pasts turn out to be perfectly fine partners, and some straight-laced types turn out to be complete douchebags once matrimony sets in. Love is always a crap-shoot. Like many men and women, she just gave her trust to the wrong person, and like them she has to decide for herself what her next move will be.

And unlike Greg, Sandra looked past all that and embraced Jesse James’s more admirable qualities (like the fact that he’s a workaholic and a talented mechanical engineer, which is no easy feat). Regardless of the fallout with his marriage, I’m glad not everyone have the infallible standards of Mr. Greg above. Sandra sure didn’t, and that’s more admirable than ultra judgmental moralists with Greg’s standards, even if it didn’t exactly work out for her.

  • CountdownClock

Disappointed. I would definitely love, love, love to see a Sandy sex tape.

    • Brooke

Did you read the description of the alleged sex tape? I mean, if seeing fecal matter smeared on Sandy’s upper lip is something you’d love, love, love to see, all the power to you, I guess…

    • ZZZYYTXXX

      neanderthal!

  • Dan

No sex tape that she knows about.

    • greatoz

note to self, check closet door for camera before sex. OK got it.

  • Celia

The woman has dignity, that’s why she responded to this ludicrous accusation. I’m sure she’s not enjoying watching the media make a mockery of her life.
At least she kept the statement brief and she also hinted that she’s officially done with Jesse James, when she said, “…there never will be one” aka she’s not having sex with him again.

  • TJ

Unfortunately, as bizzare and over-the-top as the so-called sex tape description was, I can’t blame her for squashing that one personally as not saying something about it is as good as admitting it’s true to some people.

    • Tim

I think that the most interesting part of the statement was: “… and there never will be.”
      She spoke volumes with that.

  • potvin

How could she have married this pig?

    • mishka

      Seriously, how could she?
Btw, she can’t pretend she didn’t know about the Nazi stuff.

  • Soldier

    As for Jesse’s sex tapes…

  • KFed

I do love “there never will be”. As if maybe they’d maybe get back together just for a very special recording …

  • jpratm

    TEAM BULLOCK !!!

  • wonderwall

Just because she said there never will be doesn’t mean she won’t take him back. It just means she won’t ever make a sex tape.
