'Leaves of Grass' release delayed

Tags: ,

Leaves of Grass won’t be released by First Look this Friday. The drama about an Ivy League professor going back home to Oklahoma — directed by and starring Tim Blake Nelson, along with Edward Norton and Lucy DeVito (daughter of Danny) — will instead be released later this summer by a different, still-unnamed distributor, according to the film’s publicist.

I gave this movie a shot via the net and it was so bad. It is sad some of the stars of this film such as Susan Sarandon have resorted to this caliber of work.

Really. Roger Ebert called it one of the best films of the year. http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100328/REVIEWS/100329982

What the hell happened to Edward Norton? This is the same guy who did American Psycho…such a disappointment.

I think you mean American History X. American Psycho was Christian Bale.

Son of a b***h! I just read Roger Ebert’s 4 star review of this and was looking forward to seeing it friday. The whole damn world is against me.

I saw it in Toronto. It’s badly acted, badly written and badly shot. Edward Norton cannot escape fault; he was bad, too. It should go straight to DVD for those who want to see it.

I’m looking forward to this. Ed’s one of my favorite actors, I like what I’m hearing about it so far, david, your opinion doesn’t count, anything you watch online should result in a bad experience you theif.
