The producers of Joe Millionaire, Temptation Island, and My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance are working on a new prank show for Fox, according to The Hollywood Reporter. My Parents Are Gonna Love You features participants telling their families about a wonderful new significant other who turns out to be a celebrity — and totally unbearable, not unlike a stand-alone Obnoxious Fiance. Producers may add a competitive element as well, with the couple who can pull off the deception for the longest winning money for the parents.

Is it a celebrity…or a “celebrity”.
Well, they’re certainly not getting a George Clooney so I’d guess the latter.
It wouldn’t work with George Clooney. They would have to get someone onbnoxious like Tom Arnold or Omarosa.
Could be fun with the “right” celebrities.
