Don Johnson, who starred in CBS’ long-running Nash Bridges and recently appeared in When in Rome, is in negotiations to topline ABC’s comedy pilot Southern Discomfort, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Johnson would play the series’ central character, a tough convervative Texan whose life is turned upside down when his grown kids move back in. Steve Talley has signed on as the “slacker” son, who turned down a baseball scholarship to pursue writing.
