Producers Phil Monat, T. Richard Fitzgerald, and Randall L. Wreghitt announced today that Lanford Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Talley’s Folly, will be returning to Broadway in a new revival. Robin Wright (State of Play) will play the wealthy daughter courted by a Jewish accountant, played by Richard Schiff (The West Wing). The production will begin previews in spring 2011; exact dates and theater details are still be be announced.

OMG! I just finished reading this play. Such a good play. I reccommend this, along with the other two plays from the “Talley trilogy” (Fifth of July and Talley & son).
First Pippa Lee, then the lead in Redford’s THE CONSPIRATOR, now Broadway. Sounds like Wright’s back and I couldn’t be happier about it.
