O.C. and Gossip Girl creative forces Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are forming their own production company called Fake Empire to be based at Warner Bros. TV, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Schwartz’s College Hill Prods. will be folded into the new enterprise in a multi-year deal. The two met when McG’s Wonderland Sound and Vision, which Savage ran at the time, co-produced Schwartz’s first television creation, The O.C. Savage made her writing debut on the show and went on to become an executive producer. The two then teamed up to adapt the Gossip Girl book series for The CW. The new venture will focus on television projects but may also produce features, online series, music, and books.

Anna, I agree, I mean the song was used in an episode of Chuck. As for the rest of the comments, I wonder what exactly they have to do with the formation of a new production company. Either way, this may be good for Chuck, as I think Savage and Schwartz will probably be successful with this venture.

What do you consider good and bad rock music?The music I grew up on was rap, blues, gopesl, and r b since birth. But I didn’t really care for music like I do now. However when I got older I started listening to rock that was on the radio.However I’m told it’s just watered down pop bs. Just like with most mainstream rap(I agree on).But I need to know what exactly is the line and difference between good classic rock and pop crap.Exa: I started to listen to them in middle school: Avril Lavigne, Nickelback, Simple Plam, Good Charlottle, Jimmy Eat World.Exa: Now, in High School I listen to Pearl Jam, the Strokes, Sex Pistols, Living Colour,Gun n’ Roses, the Ramones, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.I kind of hear the difference between the old classics and whats on the radio. But I need FULL ASSURANCE of whats good rock. I want good quality rock, so please help. Such as telling me about guitar riffs, message behind the songs, and just plainly if the examples I gave is pop or bad alternative please explain why with details!Also my chemical romance, panic at the disco, and fallout boys for the very first examples.
