The LA Times‘ Show Tracker is reporting that Parks and Recreation star and comedian Aziz Ansari is in final negotiations to host the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, set to air on June 6. Ansari’s reps could not be reached and MTV had no comment.

Pretty cool guy. But the MTVs Movie Awards have fallen to obscurity. Twilight and Avatar will just win everything so who cares
Who cares? The MTV Movie Awards are nothing but endless lame jokes and tweeny-boppers with bad taste in movies who are just going to end up voting Twilight for best movie anyway.

This would be amazing!! I think Aziz is one of the funniest men on tv right now and doesn’t get is due so hopefully this will give him a little more profile. I would love to see him and NPH work together, I think their comedic timing would work well against each other…that’s my fanboy dream! haha
