Maybe the third time’s the charm? After CBS cast Skeet Ulrich in Jericho — which was canceled in 2008 — and last year’s pilot Back, the network has been tapped the actor for another pilot, this time an untitled medical drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The pilot, written by Hannah Shakespeare and produced by John Wells, follows a “mobile medical team” that helps those in need around the U.S. Ulrich was cast as a Harvard alum and “cardiologist with rock star looks.” He also has plenty of demons: Ulrich’s character, a single dad, is still in love with his junkie ex-wife.

I have to think about the show’s premise, but I sure don’t have to think about Skeet Ulrich. It will be wonderful to see him again in a series. I wish him a long run with a devoted fan base.
Skeet Ulrich: The poor woman’s Johnny Depp.
Skeet in scrubs!! Can I just say– yumm!
I miss seeing Skeet on TV. Please bring him back! Anything he does is worth watching.
