If you’re on the internet during/after a live show that you aren’t watching, you’re asking to be spoiled. Stay off Twitter if you care that much.

American Idol would have to go a long way to find a more competent Host than Ryan Seacrest. He keeps everything on this complicated TV show moving the right way. There are few others that could do such a great job. Think about it

Absolutely. If you don’t want to know results, then you need to keep away from all media outlets. After all, it’s not like Ryan was the only one tweeting/blogging about the results before the West Coast saw the show. Any cursory examination of Twitter, etc, would have given you the results.

Does it really matter? Really? This season stinks so bad nobody really cares.

i think ryan should not be allowed to discuss anything idol on his twitter. from what i understand, all the contestants had to shut down their facebook/twittering for this very reason. and ellen is not allowed to talk about it on her show. so fox should fine ryan and make him either close his twitter or restrict him from using it on certain days. shame on ryan. he has been doing this show long enough to know better!

You don’t think it was just because the show sucked on Tuesday night??? Worst Idol I have ever watched or not watched!

The show jumped the shark this year. Paula is looking like the smart one now.

the ratings are low because none of the contestants can sing but crystal bowersox…this is worst cast i have ever seen…men and woman

  • diva

I think ratings were low because of the tweet but also because so far this is not a very exciting season of AI. And for the haters…Ryan works hard and you have to respect his hustle. If you’re not doing better, don’t hate someone else for making it.

i usually like ryan, but i thought he was very disrespectful to andrew garcia. andrew was the only singer ryan didn’t acknowledge on elimination night. he just told him to sit down.

Ryan really should join Kara and both of them leave — they have served their time and we are tired of them.

I like Ryan, he works hard and is smart enough to capture his moment. You can like or not like his style, commentary, whatever… but you have to respect his success. This twitter nonsense with him means nothing.

I sincerely doubt the ratings were down because of a single tweet. Ratings are down because the contestants suck this year.

Lacey was awesome, but that’s not what this post was about, it’s about Seacrest making an oopsie…I mean, I don’t host the show and even *I* make sure that anyone who comments on my Facebook with any hint of a result for any reality show before it airs on the west coast is erased. So Seacrest should be more careful, and he should have acknowlegdes the oopsie publicly. Not to make a big deal out of it, but to say sorry ;)
