Variety reports Bright Star actress Abbie Cornish will star in W.E., the new period drama about the love affair between King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson that Madonna is directing. Cornish has also signed on to co-star opposite Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro in the thriller Dark Fields, which focuses on a man trying out an experimental drug.

i am praying that this works. if not, madonna just needs to steer clear and far away from movies. please.
I’m sure Ms. Cornish will be remembered more for “Dark Fields” than for “M.E.” Madonna aspires to be Barbra Streisand, and based on her last directorial effort, she has a long ways to go just to get to Streisand’s level of hackdom.
