Avatar star Sigourney Weaver has signed up for Clueless director Amy Heckerling’s next project, romantic-horror-comedy Vamps, and will play the vampire queen, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The tale is set in modern-times and revolves around two young vampires (Clueless star Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter) who are enjoying the single life in New York City before love intervenes. Weaver plays the vamp queen who turned them from humans. Shooting is expected to begin in late April.
