Saïd Taghmaoui, best known as Breaker in last summer’s G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra, has joined the cast of the new Conan the Barbarian movie Conan, according to Reuters.
Taghmaoui will play a leader of thieves who is saved by Conan (Jason Momoa) and later returns the favor. Shooting begins this week in Bulgaria. The actor also memorably starred as Caesar in Lost.
I still can’t read news about this Conan film without giggling a little. Jason Mamoa was in the TV show Stargate: Atlantis and his character (Ronon) was nicknamed Conan by another character (Rodney) in the episode Epiphany.
Self fulfilling prophecy perhaps?
I bet he is most famous for playing Ceasar in season five of LOST.
Said was also very good in Traitor with Don Cheadle.
He was great in Three Kings with George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg & Ice Cube.
