Actor/director David Schwimmer, 43, and his longtime girlfriend, photographer Zoe Buckman, 24, are engaged, his rep confirmed to EW exclusively. It will be the first marriage for both. The former Friends star reportedly met Buckman in London while he was there directing the 2007 comedy Run Fatboy Run.

Yeah, really. Longtime? It’s creepy when grown men date women half their age, which she was when they started dating. Especially when she was 20! It suggests that he can’t relate to a woman anywhere near his own age, which is weird. Age isn’t so much of a big deal after 30 or so, but before then, it’s cradle robbing. And you don’t have to be 24 to bear children.
How exactly does it suggest he can’t relate to anyone near his own age? Marrying some one in their mid twenties is in no way cradle robbing. My dad is 16 yrs older than my mom and they have been happily married for 37 years. Also, my mother has always been the more mature one of the two. It is not creepy at all.

My Grandmother was 18 yrs. old when she married my grandfather who was 38 when they married. They were married in 1912. He was too old for her too, but they were married a LONG TIME!! If it is meant to be, it really doesn’t matter what age either party is. My mom was three and a half years older than my Dad when they married in 1943.

these days people who are in the 40s look much longer. My Dad is 80 and his 15 year relationship with is 45 year old wife who is younger than me really loves my DAD. He treats her like a queen and many of us like to be treated with respect. I think if they Love each other, don’t be haters!
