Steve Martin may follow up his Oscar co-hosting gig by joining Jack Black and Owen Wilson in The Big Year, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The comedy, based on Mark Obmascik’s 1998 novel The Big Year: A Tale of Man, Nature and Fowl Obsession, centers on three men competing in a bird-watching competition. Ben Stiller and Curtis Hanson are producing, with David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada, Marley & Me) set to direct.
