John Krasinski is considering a role in Something Borrowed, a romantic comedy starring Ginnifer Goodwin based on the novels of Emily Griffin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Office star is negotiating to play the pal of a New York lawyer (Goodwin) who falls for her best friend’s fiancee. The proposed deal would also include a sequel, Something Blue, that would greatly expand Krasinski’s role as the heroine’s confidant.

Her last name is Giffin. No ‘r’.
Actually in “Something Blue” (if he is indeed auditioning for the roll I think he is), he has nothing to do with the heroine of “Something Borrowed”, but rather the pseudo-villian.
So I guess that means he’s up for the role of Ethan? And I like Ginnifer Goodwin as Rachel…. at least I’m assuming she’d play Rachel. I wonder who they are getting to play Dex and Darcy!!!
Emily Blunt should play Darcy!
I haven’t read the books, but I hope they’re good, because this has the feel of a story that being made into a movie because of the cutesy title with a built-in sequel.
Kate Hudson Will play Darcy– not a good match if you ask me .
