Jimmy Smits will topline NBC legal drama

Former NYPD Blue, L.A. Law, and The West Wing star Jimmy Smits will star in and co-executive produce an untitled John Eisendrath legal drama pilot for NBC, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Smits will play a Supreme Court Justice who excuses himself from the bench to go into private practice.
