Rock Band 3 will be out in time for Christmas 2010, Viacom’s CEO confirmed on Tuesday. Bloomberg reports that Electronic Arts will continue to distribute the music-themed video game. CEO Philippe Dauman, speaking at a conference, didn’t elaborate on any more details about the third edition of the game. Also, Harmonix Music Systems has confirmed it is working on the game now.

I really hope there will some better (more popular popular) songs on the actual game so I don’t have to buy DLC to actually get something I like.
Harmonix should poll people with a list of potential songs to see what people would want.
To be honest, I was not looking forward to this game at all until yesterday. Why? I learned that Radiator by Family Force 5 will be on it. That one song alone, makes me want to buy. I you do not who they are. Check them out! They will easily be your new favorite band. facebook.com/familyforce5
