You may not be familiar with his name yet, but you will be soon. Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus’ real-life boyfriend and young costar in the upcoming Disney film The Last Song, has been cast in the 3-D adventure Arabian Nights. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the action tentpole will retell the timeless tale of a young commander who joins forces with Sinbad (no, not the comedian) and Aladdin to rescue Queen Scheherazade. The movie is being directed by Chuck Russell (The Mask, The Scorpion King) and may begin shooting at the end of the summer. Hemsworth, who previously appeared in the Nicolas Cage movie Knowing, is the brother of actor Chris Hemsworth, who is playing the title character in Marvel’s superhero movie, Thor.

Liam Hemsworth looks very caucasian to me to be playing the part. Alas, so is Jake G for “Prince of Persia” I suppose. So the trend continues…
Who cares. The characters are fake. They can be whatever race the writer/director/producers want.
Ah, well…not like nepotism is anything new when it comes to Hollywood; having an established girlfriend and brother to use for connections must give you quite a leg up on the competition. And this “Arabian Nights” film…how is it any different from “Prince of Persia”?
I like the valuable information you supply on your articles. I will bookmark your weblog and take a look at again right here frequently. I’m reasonably certain I will be told many new stuff right right here! Best of luck for the next!
